Part of our Coyote and EcoBoost training, this course looks at the Ford drive by wire control system that has been used from the early 2000’s until today. We will break down how this torque-based system works and show examples from 3v, Coyote, and even aftermarket supercharged applications. Learn how to safely modify these systems with larger throttle bodies, blowers, and modified engines to get better driveability by making the tables work for you. We use the HPTuners software package to examine the process from the start (driver demand) to finish (IPC torque safety monitor calibration) so you can tune with confidence and safety.
