We will use HPTuners software to look at how different generations from the 3v “dual equal” to the EcoBoost and Coyote “Ti-VCT” twin independent variable cam versions of this control work in the EEC. Ford’s novel approach to the complexity of multiple variables is explained in plain English as we show you how mapped points and paths are defined in the EEC. Learn the effects on airflow, spark, and torque along with how the EEC compensates in different strategies by working between the array of tables available.
